Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Royal Wootton Bassett Sports Association had the privilege of hosting training for the England Women's national team on Monday, ahead of their friendly against Spain in Swindon on Tuesday evening.

Phil Neville and his squad held a behind-closed-doors training session on the stadium pitch at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground, with stars such as Toni Duggan, Karen Carney, Jill Scott, Millie Bright and Demi Stokes completing preparations for their latest match as they look towards this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

Having the opportunity to host training for the national women's team was a huge honour, and one which the club can be proud of given it demonstrates the esteem in which the facilities at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground - open since 2015 - are held.
