Sunday 7th April 2019

Brad Pagliaroli was the star of the show at Royal Wootton Bassett Town's senior section presentation evening as he took home two first team Player of the Year prizes.

The forward, who struck eighteen times in forty appearances, was named both Players' and Supporters' Player of the Year – two deserved awards for an outstanding first season with the club.

Midfielder Gio Wrona, who led Bassett in appearances for the second season running and was a consistently strong performer in the centre of the park, was named Manager's Player of the Year for the second season running.

While they still have two Wiltshire League games to go, prizes for the Development team were also handed out.

And for the second year in a row, George Staten was named Manager's Player of the Year. The versatile youngster has enjoyed another excellent season, racking up five goals in sixteen appearances.

Meanwhile, Nick Mason picked up the team's Players' Player of the Year award. The central midfielder has demonstrated a superb attitude throughout the year, while also registering three goals.

Winger Ben Paul, who has scored twice in 21 Development team appearances and also featured twice for the first team towards the end of the campaign, picked up the senior section's Young Player of the Year prize.

The final award of the night – the prestigious Clubperson of the Year prize – was presented to club secretary Ian Thomas for his continued sterling efforts behind the scenes.
