With a reduced fixture list due to the start of half term, Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 13 Yellow were the club's only youth section side to triumph this weekend.

And they were in impressive form, seeing off Malmesbury Youth 4-0 to move within three points of their fourth-place opponents.

Leading scorer Patrick Otoo-Mensah led the way with a hat-trick, while Poppy Wannell scored her first goal for the team to complete the scoring.

Elsewhere, the Under 16 Yellows slipped to a second defeat in a row as they were beaten 4-1 by Kings Stanley. They fell to sixth in North Wilts League Division Two as a result.

There were heavy losses for the Under 13 Whites (1-9 against Wroughton Youth Leopards) and Under 12 Yellows (1-15 against Wims 11 Foothills).
