On a weekend of limited fixtures, both of Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Under 15 teams put in standout performances that maintained their excellent starts.
In Division One, the Blues retained their 100% record with a convincing 6-1 triumph against Lydiard Youth Blue. For the second game in a row, Kevin Prouse fired a hat-trick, while Finlay Whittaker-Orton scored his first two goals of the season. Marcel Lewis rounded off the scoring with his fourth of the campaign.
After a difficult campaign in 2017-18, the Yellows have been in exceptional form so far this season. And they went three points clear at the top of Division Three with an 8-3 thrashing of Tetbury Town.
Samuel Osei Bonsu's three goals mean he has now scored a hat-trick in three consecutive league games. Also finding the net were Sebastian Turner (2), Jacob Davidson, Samuel Davidson and Tristan McKay.
Elsewhere, goals from Evan Bexon-Shaw and James Dorset secured a useful point for the Under 13 Blues away against Ferndale Rodbourne Red.
Meanwhile, the Under 12 Yellows fell to a 9-1 loss away against Greenmeadow Youth. Beau Hicks scored Bassett's consolation.
