Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 13 White secured their second win of the week with a superb 11-1 victory against Lydiard Youth Vikings.

On Wednesday, they recorded an opening league victory of the season by the odd goal in three against Bradford Town Youth Stingrays courtesy of Nathan Woodward's brace.

He was on target again on Sunday. But it was Poppy Wannell who this time led the way as she fired four goals. Completing the scoring were Archie Portlock (2), Darcy Cox, Luke Taylor and Thomas Triggs.

It was a weekend of big victories for a number of Bassett's teams.

Otis Lewis scored a hat-trick as the Under 15 Blue defeated South Cerney 8-2. Kevin Prouse (2), Harry Farrow, Marcel Lewis and Jack Osbaldeston were also on target.

The Under 14 Blues made it two wins from two games as they beat FC Chippenham Youth Eagles 6-3. Jacob Rendell-Haines made it seven goals in two matches as he struck three times, while Charlie Hudson, Charlie Stammers and Joey Warren also netted.

Meanwhile, Kieren Kirby and an own goal secured a 2-0 triumph for the Under 16 Yellow side against Malmesbury Youth Tornadoes.

Among the teams to triumph, the Under 16 Blue, 15 Blue, 14 Blue and 13 White teams have won both their opening fixtures.

While not winning, both the Under 18 Yellow and 12 Blue teams recorded hard-earned draws.

Against reigning North Wilts League Division One champions Malmesbury Victoria Youth, the former looked on course to win thanks to Aaron Griffiths' goal, but Malmesbury found a late equaliser to snatch a point.

The latter held FC Calne Galaxy to a 2-2 draw courtesy of strikes from Edward Greenouff and Finlay Hyde.
