Royal Wootton Bassett Town will start their 2018-19 Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division campaign with a home appointment against Tuffley Rovers.

Bassett will host their Gloucestershire rivals on Saturday 4th August before welcoming Fairford Town to the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground for an early season local derby on Tuesday 7th.

Sam Collier's side split their season series with Tuffley last time out, triumphing 2-0 away before losing 4-3 at home in a game which saw Rovers twice overcome deficits.

Against Fairford, Bassett drew 1-1 at home in the league and won 3-1 in the FA Vase. However, the reverse league fixture at Cinder Lane - which Bassett are set to visit again on Tuesday August 21st - was lost 4-0.

According to the provisional fixtures released by the league, another highlight of the first month of the campaign is set to be a home contest against newly promoted neighbours Shrivenham on Monday August 27th.
