Bassett pass Charter Standard health check

Thursday 26th April 2018

The Football Association has informed Royal Wootton Bassett Town that the club has successfully passed its annual Charter Standard health check, and has had its existing Community Club status re-approved for the 2018-19 season.

We are proud of our Charter Standard Community Club status, having been the first club in Wiltshire to achieve this distinctive honour in 2008.

The accreditation certifies that Bassett uphold values that appeal to players, coaches, officials and supporters and demonstrates that we are a club that offers a place where everyone can enjoy football, a fact demonstrated by our thriving youth and veterans sections and successful men's and women's teams.

A lot of hard work goes into ensuring that we maintain that prestigious award, and huge thanks go to those volunteers who have ensured this once again occurred.

As a reward, the club will be receiving twelve free Nike footballs from the Wiltshire County Football Association in July.
