The itinerary for FC 's-Gravenande's visit, starting on Thursday 4th May, has now been confirmed.

After an early departure from the Netherlands that morning, they will be travelling by Shuttle from Calais to Folkestone, before undertaking a tour of Wembley Stadium in the early afternoon. Following that, they will travel down to the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground for fixtures against our youth teams before being introduced to their host families.

On Friday morning, they will travel to Surrey to visit Thorpe Park before returning to Bassett for a mini 8v8 'Europa Cup' tournament featuring mixed sides in the evening. After that, the tour party and hosts will enjoy a social evening in the Clubhouse.

Then on Saturday, the tour party will take in the Premier League fixture between Swansea City and Everton at the Liberty Stadium, before returning to the Netherlands on Sunday.

Requirements from host families on each day are as follows:

Thursday 4th May

Guests will need to be collected from the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground at around 8.30pm. They will have received food after the fixtures that evening.

Friday 5th May

After breakfast, guests need to be dropped off at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground to enable them to depart for Thorpe Park at 8am. It is advised they are dropped off at least twenty minutes before this departure time. A packed lunch will need to be provided to them.

All host families are invited to attend the social evening in the clubhouse. This will start at around 8pm.

Saturday 6th May

After breakfast, guests need to be dropped off at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground at 9am. A packed lunch will need to be provided to them.

In the evening, guests should be collected from the club at around 9.30pm.

Sunday 7th May

After breakfast, guests need to be dropped off at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground for a prompt 8am departure. It is advised they are dropped off at least twenty minutes before this departure time. A packed lunch will need to be provided to them for the return journey.

Once again, a huge thanks goes to all families who have agreed to host our visitors from FC 's-Gravenzande. Without your generosity these visits simply could not happen.
