Royal Wootton Bassett Town Veterans are honoured to be hosting the Royal Air Force Representative side in a friendly fixture at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground on Sunday (12 o'clock kick off).

The game has been arranged as a tribute to the immense amount of dedication to the armed services that RAF Lyneham provided for many years and the kind hospitality and generosity shown by the people of Royal Wootton Bassett and the surrounding area during repatriations of fallen soldiers.

The RAF side will be a strong one, comprising players travelling from across the country - and even some from Germany.

It is hoped that the game will be an annual fixture hosted by the club, and it would be great to see as big a crowd as possible at Sunday's game, which should be an entertaining one.
