More than £6,500 raised for Sue Ryder

A huge thanks to all those who supported the James Smith memorial match between a Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Cirencester Town XI at the Corinium Stadium, which raised £6,529.25 for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.

The game, celebrating James' life after he tragically passed away following a short battle with cancer in December, was played in a great spirit throughout and extremely well supported.

Special thanks go to Danny Groom and Ray Ellis, who put together a side of players who played along James in the club's Under 18 Floodlit League and Reserve teams.

Those wishing to make a donation in James' memory can do so on the JustGiving page set up by James' family.
