Cup finals at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Football Club and Royal Wootton Bassett Sports Association are proud to have been chosen to host a number of cup finals in the coming weeks.

On Sunday 9th April, the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground will host the Wiltshire County FA Sunday and Youth Cup finals.

The Sunday Cup showpiece pits Chippenham and District Sunday League side The Dursley Arms against Swindon's AFC Gas (10.30am kick off). That is followed at 2pm by the Youth Cup decider between Melksham Town and New College Swindon.

The first of three Swindon Sunday Football League cup finals takes place on Sunday 23rd April as Highworth Town Sunday face AFC Cricklade in the Bunny Uzzell Memorial Shield.

Then, on Sunday 30th April, DPR FC face Woodlands Edge with the Chairman's Trophy on the line.

The winners of the final Sunday League cup competition will be determined on 7th May as Cleeve Tech take on Greyhound for the Knockout Cup.

On Saturday 6th May, the Swindon and District Football League celebrates its 125th anniversary with its two cup finals and a 'Legends' game at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground. The day's celebrations will begin with Wroughton Reserves against Deers Leap or Ramsbury in the George Thomas / Don Rogers Cup final, before Tawny Owl and Old Town United then do battle for the Advertiser Cup.
