Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 16 Yellows and Under 14 Blues both recorded convincing victories and clean sheets in North Wilts League action this weekend.

in Division Three, the Under 16 Yellows defeated Malmesbury Youth North 6-0. Ryan Battershell and Joe Mitchell bagged braces, while Aaron Griffiths and Kieron Heppell struck a goal each.

There were four different scorers for the Under 14 Blues as they pulled within a point of second place Chippenham Town Youth in Division One with a 4-0 triumph. Nathaniel Bell, Michael Gilder, Billy Saunders and Sidney Skippen were all on target.

The Under 12 Yellows gained revenge for a narrow defeat against Ramsbury Juniors earlier in the season by triumphing 4-2 in the return fixture.

The Blue side in the Under 12 age group were also victorious, maintaining their healthy lead at the top of Division Three with a triumph against Liden Community.

Also top of the league are the Under 13 Yellows, who were awarded their Division Four clash against Malmesbury Youth Falcons.

Meanwhile, the Under 15 Blues were defeated 9-0 by FC Chippenham Youth.
