Congratulations to the Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 13 Blues, who sealed the Division One title with a 10-4 victory against Croft Junior Blue on Thursday evening!

Having had two victories awarded to them in the past week, Bassett were left requiring just one win from their final two games to overhaul Liden Community White. And they clinched the championship at the earliest opportunity with an emphatic triumph.

Should they avoid defeat against Wanborough Juniors in their last match of the season on Sunday then Bassett will complete an undefeated campaign.

Despite that record, it hasn't been easy for the team. Cup runs and postponements meant that come the start of April, Bassett still had twelve league games left to play.

Yet they have overcome the fixture congestion in style, winning all eleven games played so far, thus extending their league winning streak to thirteen games and wrapping up top spot - a fantastic achievement!
