Royal Wootton Bassett Town eased past Odd Down, recording a 7-0 friendly win as Adam Wood's side prepared for their final South West Regional Women's Football League Division One Eastern fixture of the season.

While taking until midway through the first half to open the scoring, Bassett were in an unassailable position come half time.

Maddy Elliott fired Bassett in front after a Libby Davies shot was only parried.

Davies then slotted home after neat build up play involving Hannah Gulliver, Emma Sykes and Caily Morse, before Elliott grabbed her second of the game ten minutes before the interval.

Bassett made multiple changes at half time, but that did not slow them down.

Lucia Green teed up Davies within six minutes of the restart before Davies completed her hat trick with a free kick.

A fine move involving Sykes, Green and Grace Whitehouse set up Sykes for six.

Green then completed the scoring with ten minutes to go, firing in from a Gulliver pass after impressive pressing from Whitehouse forced Odd Down to concede possession.
